Our role in the community
Our club aims to give back to our community which gives us so much. For that reason these are a few of the ways we are trying to give back. If you're a member and have other ways you would like for us to get involved please let us know and we will where we are able.

Asylum Seekers
We are offering free classes to asylum seekers during their first year in the country as they are not allowed to work during this time. This is to help them learn English, stay productive, keep healthy and also many times they can teach us many things they may have learned about wrestling from their time wrestling in their country.

Educational Opportunities
Club members wishing to become wrestling coaches and referees should let our coaches/board know that they are interested in progressing through our education pathway. After exhibiting a track record of reliability and loyalty to the club, the club chair and treasurer can confirm eligibility for the member to have classes to become a coach or referee through the British Wrestling Association and/or United World Wrestling paid for at club expense, including travel, accommodation and food costs. After the member has passed these classes they can then be eligible to work for the club as a club or referee.

Potential Pathway
Club members wishing to compete on the international stage may benefit from our Potential pathway. After exhibiting a track record of reliability and loyalty to the club as well as gold medals at two or more national level or higher events, the club chair and treasurer can confirm eligibility for the member to have some expenses paid to compete at further international competitions, camps and events at club expense, these can include travel, accommodation and food costs as well as entry fees. This opportunity will be very limited based on available club funds after expenses.

Promoting the sport of wrestling to the wider community
We will be engaging in outreach to schools to get pupils to learn more about the sport and take part. We will offer a free class to anyone looking to try out the sport
